Referring specialist and general practitioners can refer patients to NT Radiation Oncology by filling in the referral form available on this website.
Step 1: Complete a referral form
Complete a Patient Referral Form. Please ensure that all patinet information is completed, your referral details are included and the referral form is signed. We encourage that details are typed prior to being printed.
Step 2: Send the referral form
Completed referral forms may either be e-mailed to NTROADMIN.DoH@nt.gov.au or faxed tp (08) 8944 8222.
Step 3: Authority to supply medical information
Patients who have had radiotherapy at other centres are required to complete an Authority to Supply Medical Information Form in order for NT Radiation Oncology to request for previous treatment details. Please fax this form to us on the above number.
Step 4: Confirm a patient appointment
Call the NTRO office for an appointment on (08) 8944 8220. Please ring the same number if you wish to talk to our resident Radiation Oncologist.
The centre operates Monday to Friday between 8am and 4.30pm.
For emergency referral outside these hours and at weekends, please call the operator at the Royal Darwin Hospital on (08) 8922 8888 who will direct you to the doctor on call.
